Ferris wheel, endless food & sweets, games, music & my hubby make for an incredible evening. Tuesday night Jo & I headed out for a night at our local fair. We picked a great night to go, not too crowded but not scarce either. It’s not too often that many super exciting events come around our town, so we always jump at our opportunities.

That big stuffed panda you see up there..I would love to up the romance and say Jo won that for me, but the truth is, I beat him at a game of “shoot the water at the hole” (not sure of the real name) After that, we grabbed a pizza & then spent WAY too much money at the “stand the bottle up with the ring” game (I should really figure out the names of these games). I’m not super hip on fair rides, but Jo convinced me that I had to take a ride on the Alien Abduction (pictures above). No joke, when the ride first started, we were convinced that this was it, we were about to share our last moments. Little dramatic, but it definitely had a rough start. If you’ve never rode this contraption before, it spins so quickly that is sucks you against the wall. At the point that we were spinning at a pretty rapid speed, I uncovered my eyes to look over and see Jo sucked to the wall, flipped upside down, of course 😉 we both agreed that we were in no hurry to get back on that one any time soon. After a few more games & sweets, we ended the night on the Ferris wheel.

It was a fun, much needed change of events. Can’t wait for our next adventure! The days with the one I love only get better & better.

xx, Kemper
