Lace & Bell

Who says you can’t wear white after Labor Day? I’ve never really liked that rule anyways (: Always love beautiful white lace detail & adding a bell sleeve makes it even better. Would also love this top with a pair of black high waisted trousers, or even more causal with an overall dress & some loafers/ oxfords.

We are getting super excited for Fall & are getting ready to start putting out some cute little decors. We are also dying a little inside that we aren’t at NYFW. This tee has easily become my favorite. When I find a new item of clothing I like, I tend to wear it for a week straight, anyone else?! Some other ways I’ve styled it are with a denim mini, a jean dress & some oxfords. Casual apparel is slowly taking over my closet & I love it. Starting to break out the fall wear, now just waiting on the cooler weather.

I’m currently on #3 of my slowly growing bomber collection, and this one is definitely my favorite. We are loving the patch trend right now, and this jacket does it perfectly. I know the “rules” say not to wear white after Labor Day, but I’ll definitely be wearing this one well into the winter 😉 Can’t wait to pair it with a pair of skinnies & some Dr. Martins. All of this talk is getting me excited for the cooler weather; unfortunately, that’s still going to be a while for us Louisianians.

Just when I think a vacation couldn’t get any better, this guy just never fails to amaze me! We had an absolute blast in Miramar this past week. We experienced a few rainy days, but that didn’t stop us from enjoying our time. We had amazing dinners each night (most of which started off with fried crab claws), went to the arcade (where Jo hit the jackpot), surfed on the Flow Rider for 2 hours straight (I walked away with a bruise or 2), played putt putt, rode the cyclone, did handstands on the beach, and just spent an incredible week together. Couldn’t ask for much more! Now, it’s back to reality. At least for a little while 😉

Hope those who have started back school have had a great first few days. Summer may be “over”, but the Louisiana heat has just begun.

Walking the streets of downtown Monroe in style thanks to Express One Eleven line. They have so many comfy tees & dressier tops for men & women. We can’t wait to get our hands on a few more. These pants (not on the site anymore, but linked in some similar), purse & shoes are also Express and some of my favorites. Always love getting this stud in front of the camera 😉

Jo & I just recently celebrated 2 years of marriage. Can’t believe so much time has already passed. We are celebrating by heading to the beach this weekend. Can’t wait to bring you guys along!
