A little maroon & a little grey..the perfect fall sweaters! So I am super picky about my turtle necks. If it’s too big around the neck, it just looks funny. And if it’s too tight I feel like I’m wearing a neck brace, but Lou & Grey got it just right with this grey sweater. The maroon sweater is so perfect too. I’ll definitely be pairing it with some leather leggings next.

Grey jeans are a yes. I fell in love with these as soon as I saw them. They are SUPER comfortable and have a slight stretch which makes them fit just right.

Lou & Grey has such a great fall selection. Be sure to check them out, and be ready to make some awesome purchases! They have some of the best sweaters, and the material is super soft!

P.S. I am wearing a size small in both sweaters & a 26 in the jeans. Everything runs a little bigger, so I would suggest going down a size. I loved the way my sweaters fit, but I may would have downsized the pants.

Surprise, short hair! I knew I’ve always wanted to cut it, but I could never build up the courage. The hubby persisted until I finally gave in, and I’m loving it! It gave this dress just the edge it needed. I believe this is the most comfortable item of clothing I have ever put on my body. Baby doll dresses are such a go-to for any occasion, and this floral print is perfect for fall. However, beware of wearing this dress in windy conditions, I had a few Marlyn Monroe moments during this shoot! ?

I’m trying not to wear hats as much, they just always end up on my head, but I have one headed here from Australia so let’s be honest..that’s probably not going to happen. 😉

I had the honor of standing by my best friend in her wedding Saturday, and it was beautiful. It was such a great reminder of LOVE; what it truly means and how important it is for us to love everyone we come in contact with! Love you guys!

It consists of a full spectrum of inter-mixable colors and a Clear Shine which can be mixed with the total color palette to create a multitude of colors. PM Shines have been developed with an exclusive intense hydrating complex (IHC) that penetrates deep into the hair shaft to add intense hydration and help replenish amino acids lost during the coloring process. PM Shines are easy to use, delivering true to tone, long-lasting, healthy looking hair color with exceptional shine and condition.  The 2 shines I use on my hair are the 9V (silver / lavender)  & 9A (silver / blue).  They typically last 3 weeks before they fade out, depending how often you wash your hair.  All hair types are different and will require different formulas & processing time.  Please consult your beautician before applying PM Shine to your hair.

_MG_8402 copyThis shampoo & conditioner are the BOMB.  I wash with Davine’s Silver Shampoo & Conditioner every time I wash my hair (which is once a week–coarse hair over here).  This shampoo & conditioner does an amazing job at keeping that yellow, warm color out of your hair.  It’s great for your hair & keeps it nice and cool, I like!

A mid-week HELLO to all of you! We missed all of you, so we wanted to give you guys a little mid-week post!

I am becoming more and more fond of navy, especially for fall / winter. I’m also all about combining different shades, and I’m loving navy & baby blue together! This slouchy cardigan & baby doll dress combo feels just right in this amazing weather. Will definitely be pairing this cardigan with some black denim once it cools off. You will start to notice, as the weather becomes cooler, so my clothes will become slouchier. (; Also, I traded in my Cyber MAC lip color for this Smoked Purple color, and I’m loving it. Dark lips for the win!

CARDIGAN AMERICAN EAGLE

We were so excited when America Eagle contacted us for this feature! Once I found saw this cardigan, I knew exactly how I wanted to style it. It was 90 degrees in the Louisiana heat while I was sporting it, but I felt so cool that I didn’t even break a sweat ?. I love to pair almost anything with a wide rim hat and booties, and it worked so well with this cardigan. With an asymmetrical design, this cardigan is not overbearing or uncomfortable – it’s super cozy. You can throw it with a pair of shorts when the weather is cool, or match it with a pair of jeans & booties for the winter. I may even sleep in it; it’s so comfy. 😉 While I’m all about the fashion, it’s nice to be comfy too, and this cardigan is just that. Perfect addition to my growing fall section in my closet (if I had sections in my closet); it fits right in!
