After a wonderful day of some much needed shopping therapy with the mom-in-love, the hubby and I met up for a quick photo sesh. This is what I like to call my “Sale” outfit. I purchased this edgy dress and snakeskin boots at a tent sale (boots 75% off, yes please). I don’t wear much silver jewelry, but when I saw this necklace, I couldn’t pass it up. A pop of turquoise gets me every time!

This outfit was perfect for a day of shopping, and even for a date night (with a very handsome someone and some very delicious sushi).

DRESS K-SERA | NECKLACE DUCK & DRESSING

To say I’m ready for my most favorite season of the year is an understatement. Sunshine, beaches, tanning, and cute little dresses like these make me one happy girl! This dress is so comfy and perfect for a casual night out or a day at the beach. I’m a sucker for anything backless and flowy. Speaking of the beach, Jo and I leave for ‘Honeymoon Part 2′ in less than two weeks, and this little dress will definitely be joining us. My beach fever is hardly curable!

I’ve had this key for around 4 months now and haven’t yet found my perfect someone to give it away to. ‘COURAGE’ is the word that marks my key, “The ability to do something that frightens one”. This reminds me of my favorite scripture: “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

I’m sure we will be back to chilly temps in a few days, but for now, I’ll enjoy this sunshine bliss. Gotta love Louisiana!

Fashion is my lifestyle, so this post is of course in both categories! On beautiful, perfectly weathered days like today, the Hubz and I like to spend our days outside playing (yes, we are children at heart). Today involved running, some handstands, and a little couples fitness. Couples yoga is also something that Jo and I enjoy doing together.

It’s rare to catch me in any active wear that’s not Nike, but I try to switch it up every now and then. It’s so bad, that when I cheered at ULM, my teammates actually made a song about how much I wore it (little fun fact). I do love Nike!

Remember friends, get out, get active, and LIVE. And never forget..
